These sweet twins had a great 4th of July! Aside from celebrating our country's independence, they celebrated their ever increasing independence. Linc is now potty trained with the occasional accident. Lili won't have us help her one bit when it comes to changing her clothes. These almost 2 and a half year olds can make us so proud and so sad at the same time with how independent they are getting! "No momma, I do it!" is heard many times each day in the Perry household.
We celebrated the 4th by taking our cargo bike, "the Loco" on a 8 mile round trip ride to a great neighborhood 4th of July parade and festival. We decorated the Loco and the kids were so proud to sit in it during the parade and wave their flags and follow the firetruck. Then we rode the train, visited the firemen and attempted a short tour of the firetruck. The kids were excited to see the truck, but once they got on, they became frightened and hopped right off!
We finished our day with a great backyard BBQ from papa Perry.
Enjoy our photos from the day!
